we had to start we ar now in about nine Mils off the enemy
we hav not had nor y Battle yet but wee dont kow how soon
we ma hav one tha was a battle fot the outher day in about nine
mils of ous at bethel Church tha was three hundred

tha ar killing sum off yakeys aver day and taking sum off them

baterys I expect will bee to building battery in a few days Thar

Well satisfied now watter is not very planty wher we ar now

it is not as hot her as it is in south Carolina I lik north Carolina
a lot better it is a Hilly plase then it is her and the folks is so

north carolina and tha met ous every time the cars stopt and

and children waving thar hats and hancor chief and halouing
hooraw For the south Carolina Boys Wee her that all the
volenteers that we left at camp Buttler is gon home I wont
you to writ and tell me wher it is so or not and tell mee how
