Dear father I take this oppertunity to
drop you afew lines to let you know
we ar geting along We ar Well at this
time We had to ly over at collumbia
one knight and day to get andrews pa
pers fixt I got him thraugh With out
eney truble We hav not got to our regt
ment yet We hav bin eight day on the
road and hav one hundred ten miles to go
yet the cars run of the track too or three
time but did not eny one get
hurt We hav had to ly by too or three
days the cares missed connection every
place We change but one We ar at bris
tole Tennessee We Wil leave hear to morow
We lost our bag of pervision Som
body Stole it at Ral leigh We hav d[r]awd
rashians to day long Street is at new
market he is moving on to Wards the
enemy they ar expecting afight there
Soon the Weather is very coald hear it Snowed
al day yisterday the ground covered one
foot deap Wel I be liev I have rote all
I can at this time I Wil Rite as Soon as I get
to camps I Wil close for the present
