thee perpose of riting you a few
lines to let you now that I
am in good health but I am
wonded thee ball went in close
to my back bone an came out
just abov my hip bone it is
a flesh wond it did not gow
to my insids my wond is doo
ing very well I was wonded
thee sixt of this month
I hav not herd from brother

of this month Thair was five
