it is with plesure
I seat my self th is evning
to rit you a fiew more
lines to let you no that
we are all yet on land i hop
this to find you well as hit
has pleased god to giv you good
health sins you hav bin gon i
hop he will to the end i am verey
sorrey that I hav giving you so mutch
reso to com plain of my neglect of not
riting to you but be asured that
my afections for you are the same the
ever was I think of you morning and
nigh nor are you ever in the day intirel
absent from my thoughts all of our
folks is well at this tim so fa is i no
cozen Tom i wish you had bin with
us last sunday you woodav got to
seen most all of them even to cozen marey
wair down and I haent saw hir before sins
the first sunday in aprile though I hop the
time will come when you will be
one in our nomber though quit a dim prosect
the time seam long and lonsom it youst
be so coman to see you coming onse and
a while but we dont see hit thees days
& yet I hop you may get throo the hard time
and reach hom again well and harty and find
us all the same and if not this I hop to meat
you and no you in sweat hea[v]ing whair
parting is no more
