Dear husband I Seat my Self
this eavning to let you know that we are all well
hopeing when these few lines comes to hand that they may
find you enjoying the Same blessing I reciebed your letter
to day and was glad to hear from you and to hear that
you was well. billy I will Send your coat and pillow
by will hudgens if I can Get them to him though
I dont know when he is going to start I will try to
Get them to him Jim cooper and his wife eat dinner with us
to day we have got the corn ploughed over and we have
been hoeing to day enzy Jane can hoe rite Smart I went over
to paps last knight and darling child is over thier now
and is going to Stay all the week fanny is over hear now She
come home with me last second Sunday and is going to stay til
next Saturday mother is verry sick I dont know what is the
matter with her tell brother Jim she is sick letty is Just
lying thier yet I dont see much alteration in her no way
billy our wheat has got the rust verry bad I went to see
your grand mother when I went to your paps She did not
know what to think about you not comeing to see her
before you went off I told her you did want to but you
did not have the chance mary cooper is ho[?]ing for bill gains to
plough thier corn we are done planting all the corn and cotton

the fans you sent me was no account theywas split all to pecus I got
the candy Jar you stated in your letter that you could Get things cheaper
down thar than you could hear if you can Get Soda and copperas
any cheaper I wish you would Get me some and send to me and
letty said she would send you the money to pay for two pounds
of each and you may Get me and darling child a dress if you
want to if you can Get it any ways cheap I dont care what sort
they are so they are nice darling in as sweet as ever I love her better
now than ever because I have got no body hear to help me love
her bless her little heart she is the best child now you ever
saw since I weaned her I never have to whip her now at all
I will come to a close so nothing more at present only remains
