Dear Father I take the pleasur
of droping you a few mor lines
I am well at presant thou I havent
ben wel for the last two Days
I received your kind leter last
wensday which I was glad to received
and to hear from you and the rest
of the family; I havent much nuse to
writ this time but I will write what
I have got we are still in the moultre
hous and enjoying our selfs as good
as ever we are geting beter youst to the water
father we will get our Mony to morow
which will be thirty five Darllars & 65 cts
I expect to send 10 dollars home and
two sacks of salt whitch will coast
About [12?] dollars I will have to keep
10 dollars to by me A uniform
withe we get 11 dollars A month and
every six months we get [21?] dollars

lines in anser to waht you wrot
you wrot to me to have my lickness
taken an send it home it is imposible
for ther no artest hear and for that reson
I cant do it Mary I mant you to writ
to me how all the girls is getting along
and what they have to talk A bout
& also write how [Mik?] and Frank
is geting along and how long before
they Marry nothing more only remains
