I write you A Few Lines I am well to Day
hoping when these Lines Reach you they May find
you well & enjoying your Self well
though I havent Nothing very interesing to write you
from what I hear their is Some hops of peace between
the North & South I hear if it be so in the Northern
Congress they have tuke A vote on it & I hear the
yeas was Sixty to Neas Sixteen if it be so peace will
be Made it is thought in A bout three months
whitch I wood Not be Suprised My Self
I will Close as i havent Nothing interesting to
write Give My Respects To All In Enquiring
Friends Especialy to the Girls & Except the Same to

Father I wrote to you in My other Leter
that we wood Draw money in A Short time
it will be the 15th of Febuary before we draw
& I also wrote that I could Not Send you any
but I have conclued as you Need Money to pay
your taxis to Send you Some I want to Send you
twen or twenfive Dollars I think that Much will
Pay your taxis very hansemly

to you write in your Next Leter whether you have
Got them or Not & write whether the ambrotyp was
Damage any or Not

you cill this winter & how Much your bigest hog
wheis you wrote to Me that the wider Colwell
was A going to lend part of your Land Down at
Franks write whether She is A going to Live down their

I have live in Camps Now Six Months & I am
begining to think Sorter hard of you for Not writing
No oftener than you do I dont think that I have got
but Seven Leter from you since I have bin in the Island
I think Shorely you ought to write to Me every three weeks
