Dear Father
It is withe pleasure that I write
you A Line I am well to knight
& hoping thes Lines May Reach you &
find you well Father I havent No News
of interest to write I thought though as Some
of the boys was going up I would write
you A Line whitch I expect to Send by
Doc McDonal I wrote in My other Leter
whitch I Send by Mr Dunlap ; if you
pleas Send Me an old Straw
tick to Make Me A bed if you pleas to
Send it ; Send it by Doc McDonal
when he Reterns to the Island
Father i expect to be at home on ferlow
Some time in March for ten Days
I will Close for this time
I Remains your effection Son
