Camp Jackson
Dear Father I take My in hand to Drop you
you A few Lines I am well to Day to Concluded
to Drop you A few Lines Andy Armstrong is A gain
to take Alexanders Armstrong Trunk home
in his trunk I had A watch in Coming
to this State I broke the Cristle of & broke the
hands of & I put it Alexander trunk
if the trunk Comes home if you pleas get it
& put Away & keep it for Me till I Com
home it isent Runing but it is A Splendid
watch Father we Draw Money to Day I Could
Send ten Dollars to you but I do not no
when I will nede Money I will Send
you five Dollars & I will be as Saving
with My Money as posible perhapes we
will Draw Again Shortely then I Can
Send you More I will Close
I Shall Remains your Soon

fore some time my health has
not been very good since wee have
been in va Charley is very sick &
has been fore some time though he is
Mending slowly I think he will
bee able to go about in a few Days
I think he will bee Discharged when
he gits able to go home
I have no news to write as William
has wrote all the news excuse
bad writing & short Letre
give my Respects to all the family
& Receive the same your self
nothing More only Remains
