My Dear darling husnamd I seat my
self this morning to drop you afew lines to
[let?] you hear from us all once more we are
all well as common my health is better
for the two last weeks than it has bin
since I saw you only at times my side
hurts me verry bad I do not want you
to greive your self no more about me than
you can help for I will try to do the best
I can I read a letter from you yesterday
from you that you wrote to papy I had
become verry uneasy about you because I
did not get no letter last week from I
have wrote every week since I got the fi[r]st
one from you at Mobile the fault is not in
me it is in the mail and I am sorry
of it but I cant hepp it we have got
all of our crop housed and our wheat
sowed papy finished sowing it yesterday
he is learning budy to plow he help to
plow in mine and now he is gone to
help his grandpar to finish his he is a
great deal of help to me for he gets wood
and litewood for me your papy has not
come yet and I have not heard from in
more than a month I affraid that some of
them is sick if he dont come this week
I dont look for him untill after Christmas

I will quit that subject now and say to you
something about the women there is a pas
sel of women on the big creek and the river
that has formed in companys and is going
rond pressing corn and [sp???] and [?????]
they rais Mr Hertbrooks shoe shop and corn
crib they say that they taken about 1,000
worth from him but thank God I am not
in to it for I was better raised than to do
so the neighbours say that if they aint stop
they will take every thing they want I will
not go in to no such buisness to bring the
disgrace on you and the chrildren I have
more love for you than to disgrace my
husband and chrildren and family connexion
I will beg my bread on my neess befour
I would do so I want you to besure to write whet
her you got your box of clothes or not an
Cousin Jack wrote to [cous?] that he had
to express them to you when he started
he thought that he would go to Mobile
but he did not go so you must write to
me whether you got them or not I want
you to come home at Christmass if you
com papy say that if he can see any person
that will come he will try to send them to
your Ridgment Andrew Graham is at
home on afifteen days furlow if I am able
and can get the money I will try to come
to see you but if I dont come it is because
I am afraid something might happen

to me traveling if I live to get through
and can come then I will do so I must close
as papy wants to answer your letter you must
write as soon as you get this you must look
over all mistakes as I wrote it on my lap
it is so cold Dear par I do not how to
close this I want you remember me and
the chrildren in your prair farewell my
