Bryant L. Wright (b. North Carolina 1823) was a farmer. In 1860, he and his wife lived in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, but they had met and married in Harris County, Georgia. At the time of the 1860 Census, he and his wife, Lydia Jane Wright (1826-1889) were living on their Alabama farm with three children, Hepsaba/Hepsibah (1850-1929), Zachariah (1852-1929), and Martha (b. 1855). Bryant L. Wright served as a private in Co. C, 29th Alabama Infantry. During the war, the couple had another son, Bryant A. (1864-1944). After the war, the family relocated to Sebastian County, Arkansas and had several more children, including Mary E. (b. 1866) and John O. (1869-1899). After Lydia’s death in 1889, Bryant remarried in 1891 at the age of sixty-seven to Frances Sterling (b. ca. 1837).
