That I am in Marching ord and do not know wher

you heair from Me Wee was orderd a few days a go to keep
3 dayes rashings and in a bout 3 owers we was orderd in to
Lines and Marched Down to the worfe and then orderd to go own
borde of a bote and wee was Landed at ten saw and then taken
the train own the rail way Leadeing from tenn saw to Monte
gomary and ran up to this plast it Being 100.10 Miles from [Mobile?]
and 100. and 12 Miles from Monte Gomary an wee h[??] in Marching
order Ever sence wee have bin heaer som thinkes we will be Marcht
to pensacola and some to Scelmer But wee dont know for scirtin wheir
wee will go wee was order not to take but one soote of Close with us
and one blanket and wee Lefte all of our Clothing and cookeing
utentials and water vessels and is stript of all but what wee
had own our backs and wee do not know that wee will ever gite
Them wee ar Liveing own 3 Crackers and one pound of poar Beaf
a day I Like the situation of the plase as well as anny I hav bin at
But wee are heair in the open woods with out a tent to cover
us out of the rain I Begin to no som thing a bout a soldiers
Life thar is grate Confusion in Camps at this time and Different
opinions about the ware som thinkes that it is Juste commenst
some thinke it will close this coming spring the Lord only
knows when it will End for i do not nor can I see anny
prospect for ware

see the tim com when I can Come home to you I Desier to
be in your prairswand want you to Bair in mind thou I Be
Abesante from you that my mind is Ever presante with
you and that i never knew how Much I [????] you in My life
It Sceames to Me if I only could be with with you a gain
that I would not know how to contain My self I ofte times
thinke of My past hapiness with you and long to be
[tain?] [??] your [presents?] again give my Best respects to all
the Connecttion and friends and receive a good potioun to
your Self I am Ever your Devoted and Loveing Husband
