Dear father I imbrace the presant
oppor tunity of Droping you a few
Lines to inform you that I am well
at this time hoping these few lines
may find you all EnJoying the Same
Like Blesing I have nothing Strange
to write to you at this time more than
I am Enjoying my Self fine and
Well Sadisfied we have Drawed
Saddles and Sabers [Canteens?] and
Som Bridles and we Exspect to Draw
Guns in a few Days we Exspect
to Stay here ten or twelve Days Before
We are orderd of[f] we Can not tel
Where we will be orderd to it is likely
we will go to Nashville or in that
Direction rite Soon Dirict your Letter
to Long iland Ala So nothing mor
