Biography: 

Reece Rogers (b. in Tennessee ca. 1810) was a Dekalb Co., Alabama farmer. At the time of the 1860 Federal Census, he and his wife, Mary (b. ca. 1812), resided on their farm with eight of their children. Three sons, John (b. ca. 1841), Jacob J. (b. ca. 1843), and James P. (b. ca. 1846), served in the Confederate Army.
