Deare wife i wonse more tak mey pen
in han to in form you that i am well
at this time and i hope these few lines may
find you ingoying the same blesinge i got
a letter from willam ware yesterday and i was
glad to hear that you was gitting better for i
was glad to hear from you wonce more for everey
day is a wek with me heare untill i gite a chance
to com home for i am so unnesa about you
and the rest of the famley that i cant rest
and John he has actid so bad that i Dont noe
what to doo with him but i hav given ware
the hol contract of him untill i com hom and
i told him to mak him stay with you if
he coold and if he wood not to tak him self and
mak him work thar and if he runes a way to bringe
back and whip him savreley for i am determed
that he shal not be a stroling about the cuntrey
i hav nothing of importenc to righte to you
but i hop togite a furlow be four long
the men when tha git a furlow tha Dont cum
back at the time tha ag[r]ee to cum back but
i Dont noe that i whal be alle to com hom till march
and then i will bring hom all the monney that
Jonson oes me but i hope that the ware will
bee over buy that time i want you to lete mee
no whether fagen has done enney thing yet and
whether he intendes to do as he a gred or not for
i intend to hav him to fullfill his contract
