Mey Dere wife i wonse more tak mey pen in hand
to in form you that i am well at presant and i hop these few
lines will find you in Joing the same blesing i receivid youers
of the 20 and i was happey to hear that you was well and
that you had heard from Sidney if you new how i want
to com home you wood not sencher me so mutch for tunge
cant tel how bad i want to cum home but if i live i will
com hom we had a grate battle her yestarday in heringe of
this plase but thar was no boddey hurt on ouer sid i want to
ef cala dona has herd from gorge leteley we here that thar will
bee pese shortley but whether it is true or not but i hope
that it wont belong i sent you one quare of paper last wek
and it cost mee two dolers i want you to right to me as often
as youcan and right to sidney two and tel him to cum hom
as soon as posable i think that thay will be pese soon for tha cant
hold out mutch longer we drad beef the other day and we could
not eight it ouer ration ar verey small here but we hope that
tha will better we hav to put up with a most enney thing
thes times but we hop that tha wont last long giv mey
