Nov 27th, 1862 Dear Judia I am this morning at Dolton I
left Griffin yesterday Evening I got to Atlanta about 4 oc
the same Evening I left there about 7 oc and got to this place
a little after 3 oc I did not get here in time. we mist the conne
tion. James Kimbell and Thomas Hodgers is all of the boys that
met me in Griffin. We have to stay here until 3 oc to
knight if we had of not [????] [???] since we
cald of you on but the traine had just left so we will
last 24 hour I am better than I was when I left home.
I toled Dr. Staton to go up and see John and he said
he wold, and I also toled him to carry his Act. [1] that he
had against me. and that I wold tell Ana to tell you
to pay him apart of it. I thought he ought to have sum
of it but I forgotten it. I never said a word to her Joel
Harring does not get my Hat when he goes up to
Harpers you tell James [???] [???] and get it
certin and bring it to me I wis I cold be at home this
morning to see how you all come on I hated to leave
home this time worse than I ever did I want to here
how John is bad enough. yours truly so good by
I will finish my letter the first oppertunity Wm A. P.
