Lynchburg Va Langhorn Hospital Feb 4th /63 [1]
Judia. Dear Wife. I received your kind and affectionate letter this
morning which was dated Jan 18th it found me on foot but not
well. I have had a sore throat for 2 or 3 weeks but it did not hert
me much until 2 or 3 days ago. it troubles me a ritesmart now
on one side. my health in general is bad. I still have the
direer onc and a while it ceeps me reduct. Judia do not give your
self no more uneasiness about me than you possibly can help
for I find freinds where ever I go. Judia your that came to hand this
morning don me more good than any of the others but I believe that
is the way of all of them. Judia when I wrote to you last it was snowing
it Snowed about 24 hours it was the largest snow that I ever saw it
was about 8 in deep on a Scantling that is across the Weell for
the roler to rest on and it is 6 in wide. it was deeper where
it had any chance to drift up
