morning at aleven oclock I will
writ afew more words we had
an election apon the bravery of the sould-
iares of each companey in this
companey William Spivey got
the onor of being the braves man
in the companey Mother BF
Mitchel sais that he will bring
aney thing fur Me that he can if
he ca git aney thing on the train and
can git it to montgomery if you
I think it very doub ful of his
git ting aney thing on the train
myself I learn that we are not
agoing to git aney meat oneley every
beeaf every seven dayes and bacon
every ten dayes oneley apound of
beeaf and a third ofa pound of bacon
when it does come we git a pound
and aquarter of meail aday wone day
the next three crackers fur ady

had aney meat in to dayes now where
we dont get aney meat we get too ounces
and haff of shugar aday to the man
we make sactfract tea and meeal
brand coffee and sweeten it with
the shugar and eat bread and drink
sacfrac tea and meal bran coffee
we half to go to drilling to day
the men dont like it abit on as
short rashene as tha have
