My Dear brother
As Mr Corbin is
going back to morrow I will
write you a few lines to
let you know that I am
well at this time and
hope when these few lines
reach you they may find
you enjoying the same
great blessing John I wish
that you was here to stay
and may be we could
start up Christmas there
is none up here John I got
a letter from C. F. last
week and he said that he
was a going to write to
you as soon as he could hear
where you was and he sent
his love to you I expect

he will be up before long
I wish that you could get
home to stay tell WW
Allison I think that he
has forgottin his promise he
said that he would write
to me as soon as he went
back and I have not recieve
a letter from him since
give my love to him and
Jeff Mc and keep a large
portion for yourself and
write as soon as you get
this for I want to hear
from you something more
only I remain your affectionate
sister untill death
