John J. Taylor Papers, 1862-1864
The Taylors were a farm family from Cedar Grove in Orange County, North Carolina. John J. Taylor (b. ca. 1845) served in Co. E, 31st North Carolina Infantry. He was the son of David A. Taylor (b. ca. 1804) and his wife, Alvira B. Taylor (b. ca. 1812).
