wife I onst more seat my self
this Sabbath morning to drop you a
few lines to lette you now that I
am still a little own the mend
I would feel tolerable well but
I have Rite smart pain own my
breast at this time and have had
ever Since I have bin in camp
more Sow then Ihad at home
I think lying out dont agree with
me Dear wife I thought when I
Rote you the last letter I would
not Rite now more tell I got to the
Company but as I had a chance of
Senden you Some word by Esqr [Squire]
warlick I thought I would drop you
a few lines as that is the only Sattesfaction
I have to rite to you and when I can
get aletter from you Icant tell you
how often I read it over Just

Dear wife I receved a short letter
from you that Henry had rote I was
trewly glad to hear hear from you
onst more and to hear that the
Sweat little one had got well
and the other childrean and your
Self was well Could I just see you
and them just one our it would do
me more good the bes thing that ever
could be Sot before me wen I was
hungry I never have craved enny thing
as mutch in my life as I have craved
to see you and the little Childrean you
may now think you now how I
feal to words you but you cant

Sent you three letters since Henry
was down hear and I have only Recd
the one that F Carpenter fetched mee

Several days and I had Just started
up to the office when I met Frank
with the letter you dont know how
much good it don me to hear from
