Aprile 3rd Childrean Dear wife I seat my
Self one time more to rite you a few
lines to lette you now that I am Stil
wel and hope when theas few lines
may safely Reach you and find you
and the Dear little Childrean al in good
health Dear wife I have nothing of much
Importance to Rite at the present I
am sorrow to say to you that I have
bin loocken for the last weak for
a letter from you But it has not Reached
me yet Dear wife I do not lay it to
you In the least for I beleave that you
do your part In Riten But from
some cause not nowen to me they
dont Reach me Dear wife I now
that you Rite Regilar for I got a

letter the last Day of March that was
Rote the frist Day of the same month
it was Just presisely one month own the
Road which it out have come in three
Days you Rote 2 a bout two weaks after
that one and they come hear a bout 10 Days
before that one did and them Three letters
is al that I have got since I have Bin
at this camp and I have Rote some
6 or 7 since I have Bin at this place
But it may be that it is with you like
it is with me they may not Reach you But
I hope it is not the case Dear wife I
Rote In my last two letters that you
Should send me something to Eat But
I am a feard that you did not the
letters In time I sent one to Lincoln
and one to Ramsowers to friend J F
Hutson But whether you got them
In time I cant say I wanted

or some of the men that is comen to this co
I am In hopes you got the letters for I cant
tel you how glad I would Be to get something
to Eat one time more from your Dear hands
Dear and loving wife this is good fryday and

the lord only nows when we may have the
chance again of seeing Each other In this
world and the Lord only nows whether we
wil Boath Be alive Twelve months from
now But as I alwais have Praid to the good
lord that he may spair Boath of our lives
that we may again Injoy our selves to
geather own this Earth one time more and
neaver be parted now more until Death
shal part us But the Lordes wil most
Be don and If we air not spaired to
