times we had to march all day yesder
day in the rain and go rite through the
craekes and rivers and we only get a half
a bound [1] of flour for a day and but
little mete and the cannons is roing
know I can tel you the men
is is runing away every night tha
has ben nine run a way in
the last two nights out of
one company and I dont no how
meny out of the Redgment and that
is all we can here is run a way and
I want to no in portickler what the
gard is do ing and if tha ar Stopt
hounting for here I cant liv and
I dont whant to go to the yankys
I had rather com home to see
