David V. Lovell
David Vining Lovell (b. 1826) was from North Yarmouth in Cumberland County, Maine. He was the son of David and Dorothy Lovell, and he was employed as a farmer. He was married to Emma F. Lovell (b. 1829) and they had three children—Addie, Horace, and W. M. He mustered into service as a private in Co. E, 17th Maine Infantry on August 18, 1862 and mustered out on June 4, 1865. He died on June 28, 1901 and is buried at Walnut Hill Cemetery in North Yarmouth.
