Dear Brother and Sister
I recived your leter last night
my health is good as comon
it is wet and cold hear now
it has rained and snow for thre
days but it is clerren up this
morning you sed you thot I wold
tell wher the rebles wer now but
I culd not tell enney better
sence the batle then I did before
we se them sum times when on
picket but we send a few rifeld
bollets after them and tha
will diserpear at dubble quick
time, to days later I will finsh this
letter now it has cleard up and
is worm and plasant to day
we had the nuse read to ous A
bout the grate victtory at pitchburg
landing and island no ten then
in the evenig the nuse

came tha the
monerter had sunk the
marrarmack the captern came
up and turned our the Co to
tell ous the nuse then we gave
thre rousing chears for the
monerter all was excitment thru out
the whole Div bands came our
and plaid and we had A good time
generrelley this morning all is quiet but
I hear now and then A canon
but that is nothing uncomon
the rebles thru sum shells over
the outher day and one that did
not burst we went and gut it
tuck the plug out and found it
was filed with rags so you se, tha
hav sum tha is not tru to
them for shell that is filed
with rags ar not very dangrus
