dear wife the mail Boat got
in to day She Brought the Back
mail and i got your Letter
of oct the 26th and i was glad
to get it i have not got the Box
as yet it is to Bad if i dont
get it next Express i Shall give
it up But they ought to Pay for
it we have Just had orders
to Leave the City tomorrow and
go into Camp the 17th are
a going to take our Place
well we have had Six months
of Provost duty the Boys
feel Bad about going for
we have had Some Pleasent
times here But the 17th is
Pretty well used up the Same
as we where Last Spring

this time for i am in a hurry
to get Ready i didnot get a
Letter from dade this mail
But i hope to next one no
danger of Tom Marshall
Comeing Back yet my old
Col is a Live and almost
Ready to give the Rebels
another try Sucess to
the gallant Hinks then
the Baby Looks Like me
we that is good i wish i
we have not Ben Paid
of[f] yet i hope we Shall
Soon and then you Can
get what you want for
the Children But i a
Little Change and i will
Send it to you it will
do for milk mony i
wish i had more But
