to hand to day and i was glad
to hear from you and i am glad
that you have got the monny the
Letters are a Long while getting
out here it is ten days Since i got
one my cold is better now and
i hope that you will get Rid of
yours Soon yes i have Seen the
amount of the Big Bounty and
it has Been Read of dress Pararade
up to the Regt well i dont
think much about enlisting again
i think that i Should Like to
Serve this term out first and
i never will go in the Army
again unles i Can have a Better
Possition i know that i ought to

to have it and So had all old
3 years men that is all that
are Capable But after all
a man that has Served 3
years in the Army and Been
Expossed to all kinds of Climate
and wether and Been on Long
marches and knocked around
here and there as a national
Consenuse is not So good a
man as when he joined the
army i Should Like to Be in
the Army till the war ends
if i Could have a good easey
Position and farther North
for i dont Stand what i
Could once But i have Stood
it Better than i thought i Should
well we have Some time to
Stop yet i think that Dr Kelley
is very kind i wish that we
Could get the Land it is a

Suppose that the old house that
we Lived in is well i would to
god that we Could have a Snug
Little house Built there But
i dont know how it Can Be
done it makes me feell Bad
to think of it Dr Kelley is to

well there dont Seem to
Bee much news about the
war one day we hear that
gen Rosecrans and Burnsides
have Cleared out Bragg and
then it is the other way
But i hope that they will
Come out all Right things
are a going on well at
Charleston i Should Like to
Put about one hundred Rebels
out of the way Before my

one of our number By death
Since we Came down here
george F Allen of glousester
he died with the Brain
fever Poor Fellow he
Suffered a great deal he
had a fit wich he never
Come out of till he
died well i must Close
