for i have not got anything to 
keep them in and Send me 
a half dollers worth of Postage 
Stamps  dont forget the Bitters 
and Pants  dont Send anny thing too 
Spoil  i got a Letter from you day Before 
yesterday  it is the 21th  i dont think 
that Nelley ougth to go to School

Before Long  i think that gen Meade 
Rather got the Best of Lee in 
generalship  we are haveing Splendid
