in hand once more to
inform you that I am stil
alive and feel tolerabel well
I am at Louisville in the
hosptial I am gaining a
little evry day Julina It
has a great while since I have
herd from you the last letter
that I have got from you you
rote while you was at John
Baileys and that Seems like a good
while to me I got two letters from
Ruggles last week the are all
well John Parker has got home
Elias Culbertson as much as told
me that he was going to get
married this fall if he wasent
drafted I have forgoten the girls name

this last week has ben verry
Cool and plesent we had some verry
hot wether while I was at
Nashville I was there 2 weeks

as much of that as we do
