Dear Brother Peter Oswald
I take now the oppertunity
to Enswer you kind and ever
well com letter wish I Recd
on the 18 of this month and
it was a grate Joy to me
when I read you letter then
I see in the letter that you
in good health and that
is all wat I like to hear
from a soilders if he is all
well and I let you know
that I am in good health
so fer and all you friends
so fer I know you Mother
and you Brother was down

Excuse me that I have
rite not sooner becaus I
have no Poststem to put
inside so I have first to
go in the postoffice and

one in this letter and one
shead of paper then you
can rite me soon back I
know nothing news fer
this time we have nice
wether to put our corn
