My Dear and Loveing
wife Tis with the greatst
of pleasure I Take my
pen in hand To inform
you thes few Lines To
Let you know that
I am About the same
but I hope that this
few lines will find
you in good health
I am still in the same
place and I will also
tell you that Tomarro
They are going To shoot
one of our soldiers fore
missdoing his duty he
was on guard Last
[winter?] and he Left out

Two men they gave him
$75 each and then they
went down town to
buy them selves citasons
cloith and while they
were buying them
they wer Caut and
they told on this
guard and he was
put undar rest till
now and now they
are going To shoot
him he will be Shoot
on tomorrow three
day of september
That is the way they
do in the armey if
they dont obey orders
I want you To write son
again write Soon answer
all my Letters as soon as
