my Dear wife Tis with
pleasure I Take my pen
in hand To informe you
This Few Lines To Let you
know That I am well
at preasent and I hope
that this few Lines may
find you enjoying good health
and father i am going to
Let you know that we
moved again we are now
at fort Dushain and their
is one reb house rite along
side of it and there is
a man and his wife and 2 girls
Living in it and they are
rebes to but they keep
dark he had one of the
spledidds Farms in verginia
but there is a Large fort

rest is full of breast
works and father i am
going to Let you know that
i received that Ballot that
was send to me i got it
Last knight i was glad to
get it we had some prety
bad wheather this few days
and i want you to answer
this Letter as soon as you
Can dont wait so Long untill
you write again and i
Send word that you should
send me a pair of gloves
if you aint send them
yet why send them as
soon as you Can fore i
was on guard the other
knight and my hand nearly
frose and i want you
to send me a box of

express offic about 4 miles
from us our fellows got
some send to them

regament Compny the same
as you would on A Letter
and put a few strips
of sheet iron around it
and then it want
break open and i will
get it no danger i got
evry thing you send to
me sinc i am in the
regament
