I Take the oppertunity
of wrighting you A few
Lines in order to informe
you that I am well at
present hopeing This few
Lins may find you in
The same state of good
health and fother I received
your glad and ever wellcome
Letter But indeed i am
sorey that i Cant come
home we are trying hard
fore to get home But
there is not mutch use
if it was no vetern redge
ment we would Be home
Long ago But our curnal
is trying all he can fore
to hold [???] he wont maid

that gets discharged
now can Take home their
Rifles and cuterments they
Charge onley $6 fore them

cannons towards ours at
home if i come home

you want me to Bring
all my rig along we
have all new things and
they are as Cheap as
durt fore to take home
these the old folks
can see what kind of
guns we had if you
want me to Bring mine
