George Martin (b. SC ca. 1845) was a farm laborer from Itawamba County. Mississippi. He enlisted as a private in Co. C, 2nd Mississippi Infantry on March 1, 1862. He was captured at Petersburg on April 2, 1865 and confined at Fort Delaware until his release on June 10.
