Dear affetionat Wife I again
Embrace the present oportunety of
droping you a few lines to let
you know that I am well and
I am a giting a long tolrable well
I have nothing much to write
more than to Say we have a
little Skirmishing fight
her most every day we are
looking for a big fight here
in a few days I wrote
for a Showing from the
14th Miss to day I have wro
te you Severl letters and have
never Recd a letter from
you yet I would like the best in the world to hear
from you and Ma Every
eavning when the male comes
in I run out hopeing to git
a letter from you but I
have never ben able to hear form
you yet
