Biography: 

Jesse V. Fuller (b. SC ca. 1836) was from Itawamba County, Mississippi and the husband of Elvira Elizabeth Fuller. His service records indicate that he enlisted in Co. H, 4th Mississippi Infantry in August 1861 and escaped when the regiment was captured at Fort Donelson. He mustered into service as a private in Co. C, 2nd Mississippi Infantry on March 26, 1862 and died at home of smallpox on December 10, 1862 while on a sick furlough.
