self to Write you A few lines
to inform you that I am not Well at
this time but able to be up but I hope
this Will reach & find you all well & doing
well. I reseived your leter the 19 of July
I was glad to here that you all was well
I have nothing interesting to writ to
you at this time I wood like to sea
you all the best in the world I am
leving heer Just as soon as I Can
get A furlow I am going to trie for
one be four long there is sevrel of
the Boys going home on A furlow
and I think I will git off in A few
weeks but if I dont Come you want
to be uneasy a bout me I will Come
Just as soon as I can I sent you ten
dolars By Caid Armstrong & you did not
writ whether you had got it or not
if you have not got it I want you
to git some body to go and git it
I sent tenn dolars to you by Duke Martin
I kep the rest as I was in bad health
And got the most of it stoled from

sence I left Sharlatsvill he was in the
hospitel sick that has ben A bout six
