Camp near Madison Court house
Dear Sister Fannie
I take
my seat this morning to drop
you a fiew lines to let you
know that I am well, Fannie wee
have left the valey the day
hour train got back to winchester
on thursday and started back
Friday and came up to newmarket
and crost the mountain and
wee air knot moveing to day wee
have had a prety hard march
of it wee are in camp near
madison Court house I do knot
now long wee will stay hear
and I have know ider which
way wee will go from hear,
Fannie I have know news to write
than the Boys are all well.
I canot write you a long Letter
I must go on past in short

it is time I am geting
