Sister Frances
I take this opportunity to drop
you a few lines It is my painful duty
to relate to you death of George I met
Tom Womack & Dock with his remains
on the way to the grave yard as I was on
my way to camp He is buried at a church
at Harrisburg about two miles West of Tupelo
He was desently Buried There was no chance
to get him brought home or they would have
sent him home He was at Toms all the time
of his sickness and was as well taken care of
as could have been if he had been at
home He was taken with diarhoia or Flux
and then measles and it settled on the brain
something like Conjustion and was out of
his head to some extent for 2 or 3 days before
he died He was very much similar to the spels
he had 2 or 3 years ago When he come to
his mind he became reconciled to die
He died sunday about 3 oclock
I hope you will not grieve as he was engaged
in a good cause Its true we hate mightily
to have to give him up but the Lord giveth
and Taketh so we must yield to our fate
with as much patience as possible hoping
for the better my health is improving
but goodeal of sickness in Caps
Yours truly
S G Hunter
