Biography: 

Francis C. Hunter Womack was the daughter of Martha Hunter (b. ca. 1804) and sibling of Baldwyn Whitson (“Whit”) Hunter, Pinson Calvin (“Pint”) Hunter (b. ca. 1841), and Henry S. Hunter. At the time of the 1860 Census, Francis (b. ca. 1838) and her husband, George Washington Womack were living on their Choctaw County, Mississippi farm with their three children and Francis’s widowed mother, Martha Hunter (b. ca. 1804).
