Biography: 

Pinson Calvin (“Pint”) Hunter (b. ca. 1841) was the son of Martha Hunter (b. ca. 1804) and sibling of Francis C. Hunter Womack, Baldwyn Whitson (“Whit”) Hunter, and Henry S. Hunter. He served in Co. B, 15th Mississippi and was wounded at Shiloh in April 1862 and discharged for disability in November. The Hunter family resided in and around Choctaw County, Mississippi.
