Weitzburg Tenn Nov 20. 1861

Mrs J E Hunter
Dear sister It is
with pleasure that I seet my self
to drop you a few lines to let
you know how we are geting a
long I received your letter the other day
which I was glad to receive I
was glad to hear that you were all
well I received them things that you
sent me I was very well pleased with
them I would have wrote to you
sooner but I have been marching
for bter than two weeks the report
is to [any?] that we wil start one
to morrow but I dont know
where two I am as wll pleased
as you would exsoect I think
that I wil enjoying very good health
heare you mus excuse me for not
wrightin sooner for I hav not had
[??] chanse we are much erbliagest [1] to
you for them comeforts that you sent
us[we?] eceived some thing from
Sil and I belleve that we have
er supply of clothing for the present

Mr S T Hunter I have received
all the clothing that you have sent
to me and I was very well pleased
with them being as the times are
tight you nedent to bother your self
to send me any money you may get
what you can from trotter and
youse it if you want it for if I can
[keep?] my health I wl not have yous
for it you must direct your letter
to mont gomery Tenn you must wright
often nothing more at present
