Dear Mother and all
with the kind blessing of our
saveior I am once more
permitted to address you
by way of letter to let
you know that I am
well as common I truly
hope those few lines may find
you and all enjoying good
helth Brother Henry had got
the mesels again the Doctor
says it is the french mesels
tho they are broke out on him
very well now he has not lay up
for them but very little several
of the boys has got them they
caught them sence I got
back down here they got them
from some of the other companies
hen was hatier before he
took the mesels than he ever
was before in his life and I
dont think they will hert him
now ef he will take care of him
self I am a looking for
Brit and Thomas how every
day but it taken me Six
days to git here after I started
we Staid in the city from
Saturday night tel the next
tuesday night then we had to
come on a sail Schooner and
it taken two days and nights to get here
