Biography:
Zachariah Monroe Price (b. ca. 1840) was a farmer from Lawrence County, Mississippi and the husband of Sarah (Sally). Along with his brother, Henry H. Price (b. ca. 1845), he enlisted as a private in Co. B, 7th Mississippi on May 1, 1861. Thomas, another brother, joined them in January 1862. Z. M. Price was killed at the Battle of Shiloh on April 7, 1862.
