Dear Brother I taik the pesent oppertunity
to Rit you a few liens to let you know
I am giting a long throw lief the few liens
lievs me unwell But I am able to Bee
up and a Bout I hop thes few liens May
come safe to hand and fiend you and famly
well and Dooing well I was sory to her of
your wonds Being so Bade But I hope you will
get well, I got your letter that you sent
Bey John Brister, that is a heep of the
company sick tha was sevrel of the Boys
sent of[f] to oxferd Below hollay springs on
the sentrel Rail Road to stay tel tha get well
H T M hairington was one of the sick that was sent of[f]
the rest of the company that was well has Bin
on the Batel field for the last week, But
tha got Back to camps yesterday evning
I wasent able to go out mi self
tha say that the emeny is till advancing to corinth
I think that we air going to hav a nother
Dredful fight But I think that we will
fight at our one [1] Brest works this time
we hav A gooddail strong armey her now
then we had Before, Thomas I rot

that you never got hit Thomas you
