deair companion after my Best respects to
you I can inform you that I am well at
this time truly hopeing thees few lines
may find you all well I can inform you that
we have Not been in No fite yet but
have been drawn up in line and was
put into raped motion last friday but the
yankeys fled before our lines thare was some
fiting yesterday on the write wing and
some on the left but we dont know how
things is going on we are going to have
a despert batle heair before long we
have hard serves heair we have a very large
force heair and the yankeys is con centrated
their whole force heair but we will
whipeing them the worst heair that we
ever have I wold like to heair from
you as I have Not heaird from you sense
the 13 th of last month I want you to
write how things is giting along in virgin
ia you will have to send your letters the
sothron rout

sent to hospitle all that has Came
