the fact that i have written
to you once this week but as
you disired me to answere your

whether i have money enough
or not i thought i would drop

$1.50. besids .35 cts Clark
sent me Capt Slack
handed me that money Levi
sent me he gave me $5.00 i think
i will have enough money to
answer my purpose till i draw
so that i wont hafto use any
of the money Levi sent me
for i dont want to be
owing any person anything
for i want to have something
to help along
after the war is over
when i wrote home for money
i dident think that i would
