Hannah Lawrence Papers
Charles L. Moffitt was a Randolph County, North Carolina carpenter. He served as a private in Co. C, 1st North Carolina Artillery and died of disease at Goldsboro, North carolina on March 31, 1862. This letter is one from Charles Moffitt to his cousin, Hannah Lawrence.
