Dear uncle and aunt it is with
much plesure that I seat mi self to drop
you A few lines to let you know that
I am well at this time and I hope
When thies few lines Comes to hand thay
will find you and famley injoying
the Same blessing I have not got any nuse
of intrust to Write to you no more that the
boys are all tolable well at this time
and in tolable good sperrit I could tell you
A heap A bout Camp life if I was
with you A while thou we have a fine
time hare we git A plenty of beafe
to eate and we git some hog meat to
we git flour and Crackers to we have not
ben in A fite yeat and I doant know
whn we will be thou we are order to
Cook 4 days pervisson but I doant
think that we will git in A fite yeat
James M. B. & F. M. B is well at this tim
I got to yorktown Safte I wood like to be
in olde Ga A while jest to se the girls
